                      • SONG WRITING FOR THE NEW ALBUM [Updates]

Updating all those who might be wondering about the latest steps of Epping Forest...
After an inspiration breakdown which occur on 2009 we are on a advanced stadium of song writing for the successor of "Everblasting Struggle" which will probably contain about 10 tracks.

The album is planed to be recorded on 2011. Contacts with studio are already established, but sincerely we don't feel like we should be compromising this with a time mark since everything is running (like always) at it's own rythm, no rushes at all.

Neverthless, it could be said that everything is running and the new tracks are already registered on "home" pre-recordings suffering some "mutations".

So, no path is established on the direction of the sonority for the new album yet...

The last Epping Forest album "Everblasting Struggle" is one of the selected albums as the ideal discography recommended by LOUD! Magazine, the biggest Portuguese magazine.
The album is marked with a sticker on FNAC stores. Everblasting Struggle is still available through us mysticcosmos@hotmail.com. We are using this new email since we were experiencing lot's of problems with the official.

Unfortunately we have to announce that the forthcoming gig in Ourém (Portugal) which was going to take place on June 21st is now cancelled by the event organization, they decided to cancel the event since there's one of the confirmed bands that cannot play.

The server problems we were experiencing when updating the website are finally solved.

• NEW ALBUM UNLEASHED WORLDWIDE [Stores and Online order]

The new album "Everblasting Struggle" was relesed worldwide on January 9th,2008,  through the Swedish label Unexploded Records. The new album is now available in stores, if you can't find it on your local store, please order it through our new SHOP section (left side of the screen) or through Unexploded Records.

• PORTUGUESE DISTRIBUTION RECITAL REC. [Stores]

We finally managed a way to have the CD on the Portuguese stores. "Everblasting Struggle" will be available on the main Portuguese Metal stores so as in the multinational FNAC stores. The well known Recital Records is taking care of the Portuguese distribution.

17.09.2007 • EPPING FOREST NEW ALBUM [Unexploded Records (SWE)]

Epping Forest proudly announce the new deal with Unexploded Records (with releases on their ranks from Craft, Shining, Berzerk…).

Unexploded Records will release the new Epping Forest album, titled "Everblasting Struggle". The album was recorded at the mythic Grave Studios on the North of Portugal (well known for their work with Goldenpyre) and produced by Cristiano Gomes (vocals and guitar with Morbius) and is already mastered - the artwork being in the last few adjustments.  

This brutally fast Majestic Blackened Death Metal album in Scandinavian fashion provides the listener with an intense trip along the ten tracks and all its darkest mythological dimension.

"Everblasting Struggle" is set to be released worldwide on the fall 2007. For now the album is available in Portugal through Epping Forest only (info@eppingforest.net).

Stay tuned, as we will very soon announce the artwork for "Everblasting Struggle".

After more than 13.000 hits, we've decided to update the website with a more contemporary look, a more appropriate background for Epping Forest's Lyric concept and sonority. This is also a landmark of the band's 10th anniversary.
